ABOUT THE SCHOOL VISIT

Heralded as "one of the best school events we've ever had," by librarians, principals, and teachers alike, Vuthy Kuon's presentation and entitled "The Million Faces of Humpty" has captivated audiences young and old since 1996.

In Vuthy Kuon's first book, Humpty Dumpty After the Fall, Humpty never reveals his face. Here he a represents all of us whom may have "fallen" and gives us all the opportunity to be a part of his recovery. The kids now must become illustrators themselves to help Mr. Kuon create Humpty's new face and ultimately a million faces across the country.

All the excitement and energy from the storytelling and interactive artwork are accompanied by a heart warming story about the author's life as a Cambodian refugee coming to America to overcome insurmountable odds. Kuon's enthusiastic performance and ability to keep the kids spellbound will inspire the children and adults to never give up hope and that there is nothing that they cannot do.
